A recreation of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2014 held on Feb 19 2014 at the Royal Albert Hall in London ... this year saw the addition of the R2 Folk Awards Hall Of Fame award which went to Victorian song and dance collector Cecil Sharp widely regarded as a key figure of the early folk revival at the turn of the 20th century and after whom the EFDSS named their headquarters affectionately known as C# House... and to close a song from a forthcoming Little Rock Folk Club April 5th performer Lee Murdock as a timely reminder that folk music stays alive through live performance :-)
