Ange Hardy - First folk-influenced album, tho technically her second album, from this Somerset, UK singer-songwriter, and FATEA Magazine's 2014 Female Vocalist of the Year, who writes immensely listenable story songs that sound remarkably familiar and yet brand new. Relatively new to the folk scene, she has nonetheless received considerable plaudits for her Bare Foot Folk album, and with the recent release of her third album - The Lament of the Black Sheep - she demonstrates that Bare Foot was no lucky accident; accompanying herself on guitar, and a tasteful multi-tracked vocal harmony here and there, it is easy to see why the awards started rolling in!;

Vance Gilbert - 12th release from Philadelphia born and raised (or Willingboro NJ according to Allmusic.com), tho I believe longtime New England resident, who moved from jazz to the open mike singer-songwriter scene in Boston where he quickly established himself as a singer of some note (sorry!), a writer of enjoyable catchy songs, a guitarist with excellent chops, and a stage presence marked by dynamism and great wit resulting in tours with Shawn Colvin, and comedian George Carlin! Funded by fans, this release is an excellent addition to an already impressive catalog;

Asylum Street Spankers - a collection of live tracks from their 2011 farewell Spanks For The Memories: The Farewell Tour; originally street buskers in Austin who grew into an irrepressible Austin institution that comprised various member during its 17 year journey taking in a variety of musical styles including country, jazz, ragtime, blues, comedy, Tin Pan Alley and traditional folk accentuated by theatrical performances from band members with theater backgrounds;

Carolina Story - 6 track ep and second release from this North Carolina husband and wife duo comprising an excellent Americana/Country hybrid with superb vocal harmonies reminiscent of the Everly Brothers, accompanied by an all-star cast of musicians including Chad Cromwell (Neil young, Mark Knopfler) on drums, Michael Rhodes (Steve Winwood, Rodney Crowell) on bass, Darrell Scott on mandolin, acoustic guitar, bouzouki, Billy Panda  (Garth Brooks, Kim Carnes) on guitar, Dan Dugmore (Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor) on steel guitar and produced by GRAMMY award-winning Blake Chancey (Dixie Chicks, Waylon Jennings, Mary Chapin Carpenter);

The Gypsy Kings - 9th studio release from this 8 piece outfit comprising 2 sets of brothers from Arles in Southern France whose debut release 25 years ago went certified gold and platinum around the world and introduced listeners to their fusion of traditional flamenco styles infused with western pop and Latin rhythms. Musically rooted in the traditional music of the Spanish Romani people, who fled to southern France from Catalonia during the Spanish Civil War, the Gypsy Kings have traveled the world absorbing musical styles and flavors  from Arabic music to reggae and jazz to produce a truly World Music sound;

Mollie O'Brien & Rich Moore - 3rd  release from this Colorado-based husband and wife duo featuring GRAMMY Award winning sublime vocalist O'Brien, sister of Tim with whom she released three critically acclaimed albums before launching into a solo career resulting in 5 equally well received solo albums, and guitar-Swiss Army Knife Moore whose guitar styles thankfully match the wide variety of music styles that O'Brien covers - anything from jazz, to blues, to Gospel, Rock'n'Roll and traditional folk. On this release they cover songs from the likes of Dave Van Ronk, Chris Smither, Randy Newman, Tom Paxton and stamp them indelibly theirs;

Sarah McQuaid – singer- songwriter and dazzling guitarist making a welcomed return to Little Rock Folk Club on Sat Oct 4th 2014 with her vast repertoire of trad and self-penned gems, medieval/renaissance pieces and the occasional choice contemporary piece such as John Martyn’s Solid Air fitted to her purring vocals – heaven

Claude Bourbon – French singer- songwriter and dazzling guitarist also making a welcomed return to Little Rock Folk Club on Sat Sep 27th 2014 bringing along medieval and Spanish blues. Parfait!
